About this medicine

Sompraz 40 mg में Esomeprazole होता है। यह पेट की कोशिकाओं में मौजूद proton pump को रोककर acid secretion कम करता है।

पेट में acid भोजन पचाने में मदद करता है, लेकिन जब acid ऊपर भोजन नली में आने लगे या acid-related बीमारी हो, तो जलन, खट्टी डकार और सीने में जलन जैसे लक्षण हो सकते हैं।

Esomeprazole acid को कम करके भोजन नली को ठीक होने में मदद कर सकता है और acid reflux से जुड़े लक्षणों को नियंत्रित कर सकता है।

यह दवा तुरंत राहत देने वाली सामान्य antacid गोली की तरह काम नहीं करती। इसका प्रभाव नियमित उपयोग से बेहतर हो सकता है।

Common uses

जब पेट का acid बार-बार भोजन नली में वापस आता है और जलन या असहजता पैदा करता है।
2. Acid Reflux
पेट का acid ऊपर आने से होने वाली खट्टी डकार, सीने में जलन और अन्य संबंधित लक्षणों में।
3. Heartburn
पेट में acid से संबंधित सीने में जलन को कम करने में।
4. Erosive Esophagitis
पेट के acid से भोजन नली में हुई सूजन या नुकसान को ठीक होने में मदद करने के लिए।
5. Peptic Ulcer Disease
कुछ प्रकार के पेट या duodenum के ulcer के इलाज में, डॉक्टर की योजना के अनुसार।
6. H. pylori Infection
Helicobacter pylori संक्रमण के इलाज में Esomeprazole को अन्य निर्धारित antibiotics के साथ दिया जा सकता है। Sompraz अकेले इस संक्रमण को खत्म नहीं करता।
7. NSAID-Associated Ulcers
कुछ मरीजों में दर्द निवारक NSAID दवाओं से जुड़े ulcer के उपचार या रोकथाम में डॉक्टर इसे निर्धारित कर सकते हैं।
8. Excess Stomach Acid
कुछ विशेष स्थितियों में, जहाँ पेट में अत्यधिक acid बनता है, डॉक्टर इसके उपयोग की सलाह दे सकते हैं।
हर मरीज के लिए 40 mg की strength जरूरी नहीं होती। सही खुराक बीमारी और मरीज की स्थिति पर निर्भर करती है।

Important precautions

Before you use this medicine

1. Liver Disease
लिवर की गंभीर बीमारी होने पर डॉक्टर को बताएं। खुराक में बदलाव की आवश्यकता हो सकती है।
2. Pregnancy
गर्भावस्था में Sompraz का उपयोग डॉक्टर के लाभ और जोखिम के मूल्यांकन के बाद करें।
3. Breastfeeding
स्तनपान कराने वाली महिलाओं को दवा लेने से पहले डॉक्टर से सलाह लेनी चाहिए।
4. Long-Term Use
लंबे समय तक PPI लेने पर कुछ मरीजों में magnesium की कमी, Vitamin B12 की कमी, आंतों के कुछ संक्रमण और अन्य समस्याओं का जोखिम बढ़ सकता है। जरूरत के अनुसार डॉक्टर निगरानी कर सकते हैं।
5. Drug Interactions
यदि आप Clopidogrel, Warfarin, Methotrexate, Digoxin या HIV की कुछ दवाएँ लेते हैं, तो डॉक्टर को बताएं। Esomeprazole कुछ दवाओं के असर को प्रभावित कर सकता है।
6. Allergy
यदि Esomeprazole या अन्य Proton Pump Inhibitors से एलर्जी रही हो, तो डॉक्टर को बताएं।
7. Alarm Symptoms
यदि निगलने में कठिनाई, बिना कारण वजन कम होना, लगातार उल्टी, खून की उल्टी या काला मल हो, तो तुरंत चिकित्सकीय जाँच करवाएँ।
8. Children and Older Adults
बच्चों में इसका उपयोग बीमारी और उम्र के अनुसार डॉक्टर तय करते हैं। बुजुर्गों में दूसरी दवाओं और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी समस्याओं को ध्यान में रखना जरूरी है।
